There was so much fun had at the last Amore-Infinito Photography Signature Kids Paint Party that we decided to add it to our latest kids’ portrait session brochure. Putting together the brochure was almost as fun as photographing the Paint Party, in large part due to the great memories from all the kids in the brochure that I’d photographed.

Below is the the brochure; if you’d like a hard-copy printed brochure, drop me a line at adriana@amore-infinito.com or through the contact section of the site at http://www.amore-infinito.com.

TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES – 65 years ago the town in Holland in which a young girl and boy lived was liberated by the Canadian Armed Forces. It was doubtful that they would have lived through another winter. These ‘kids’ are my parents; I have always lived with the reality that if not for the Canadian Armed Forces, I would more-than-likely not be here today. If you, or an immediate member of your family, is in, or has served our Country, I would like to thank you with a 20% discount on ALL photography sessions and ALL printed products you would like to purchase from those sessions. There is no expiration date on this offering … and again, thank you!

Yesterday we set out to capture lovely Peyton in the great outdoors. What a little trooper she is; are we seeing the future Canada’s Top Model?? Regardless of the surroundings, Ms. Peyton delivers the best images.

What to do when the weather isn’t cooperating for your photoshoot??? The images of Landon and Peyton tell all…..

The End (-;

Today I had the pleasure of photographing little 7-month old Peyton in a very special dress. Both Peytons Mom and Grandma had worn the dress before her.

Though our plans of shooting Peyton in the great outdoors was derailed due to weather, I do believe we managed to make the best of it with our studio shoot.

I don’t often do a lot of post-production work in terms of actions or textures, but it only seemed right to bring the photographs back in time a bit…..

A little later, we did a really, really, fun photoshoot with Peyton and her older brother Landon … will be uploading a few of those images in the next day or two…

Victoria BC’s only gallery dedicated to the Photographic Arts, Luz Gallery,  is currently exhibiting  Allan Mandells’ collection of images ‘Sensing Spirit’…[http://www.luzgallery.com/current-exhibition]

Though not able to make the opening reception, I was able to stop in earlier this week and was spellbound with the beauty of the images — which inspired me to venture out to Beacon Hill Park today to explore the world of macro-slash-nature photography.

I’d never gone out specifically to shoot flowers/foliage [to be honest, I’ve never given flower/foliage photography any thought], and macro photography isn’t something I’d done before. I learned a powerful lesson in the world of macro … wind is not your friend.

Here’s a few of the shots that I thought were sorta’ kinda’ cool abstractie — I’ll definitely be shooting more macro in the future [in the studio, far away from any breezes].

BTW, you can click on any of these images to see them in a larger format…. cheers!!! … adriana

Today, as I was sitting in front of the computer, the wind blew through the room and pulled me out into the wilderness … the wilderness of Goldstream Provincial Park. I live in a part of the world where the land is lush, green, and beautiful. As  life gets busier with commitments which need to be met,  it’s easy to speed by one of these special places and not take notice. But today I let the wind lead me, for a short time, away from editing and the business of doing business.

It was a good day…..
